dc.description.abstractThe central theme of this dissertation is the formation of the African Kingdom of Kush, approximately in the 20th century BC, until the change of its capital from Napata to Meroé at the end of the 4th century BC. The research was conducted through a bibliographical analysis, based on African authors, emphasizing the importance of writing the Africans' own vision of the kingdom of Kush, breaking with the ethnocentric perspective predominant in most conventional historical sources. The importance of teaching about these people was also highlighted, especially after the enactment of Law 10.639/03, which made the subject of "Afro-Brazilian History and Culture" compulsory in primary and secondary education in public and private schools. This study aims to help correct historical distortions, promoting racial equality, combating racism and demystifying the idea of the existence of a racial democracy in Brazil. It also aims to contribute to building a fairer society that recognizes and values the participation of Afro-descendants in the formation of Brazilian society and its ethnic- racial diversity. In order to build up historical knowledge in the classroom, students in the sixth year of elementary school will use games in the teaching-learning process, inserting the Wordwall.net online platform into their lessons as an active methodology. The teaching material produced was a practical guide on how teachers can use the Wordwall.net platform to create games to use with their students. The research serves as inspiration for more and more teachers to integrate the use of active methodologies into the teaching-learning process, promoting a more dynamic and engaging education.pt_BR
dc.description.resumoA temática central dessa dissertação é a formação do Reino africano de Kush, aproximadamente no século XX a.C., até a mudança de sua capital de Napata para Meroé no final do século IV a.C. A pesquisa foi conduzida por meio de uma análise bibliográfica, fundamentada em autores africanos, enfatizando a importância de escrever a visão dos próprios africanos sobre o reino de Kush, rompendo com a perspectiva etnocêntrica predominante em grande parte das fontes históricas convencionais. Também se destacou a importância de ensinar sobre esse povo, principalmente depois da promulgação da Lei 10.639/03, que incorporou à grade curricular do ensino fundamental e médio, das escolas públicas e particulares, a obrigatoriedade da temática "História e Cultura Afro-Brasileira". Este estudo visa colaborar para a correção de distorções históricas, promovendo a igualdade racial, combatendo o racismo e desmistificando a ideia da existência de uma democracia racial no Brasil. Além disso, contribuir para a construção de uma sociedade mais justa, que reconheça e valorize a participação dos afrodescendentes na formação da sociedade brasileira e sua diversidade étnico-racial. Para a construção do conhecimento histórico em sala de aula, dos alunos dos sextos anos do Ensino Fundamental anos finais, sobre o tema, será utilizado, no processo de ensino- aprendizagem, os jogos, ao inserirem a plataforma on-line Wordwall.net, em suas aulas, como metodologia ativa. O material didático elaborado foi um guia prático de como os docentes podem utilizar a plataforma Wordwall.net na elaboração de jogos para serem usados com os discentes. A pesquisa serve de inspiração para que cada vez mais docentes integrem a utilização das metodologias ativas no processo de ensino-aprendizagem, promovendo uma educação mais dinâmica e engajadora.pt_BR
