| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | Consideramos redes de mapas acoplados com interacões de longo alcance para estudar a sincronizacão de caos. Redes de mapas acoplados têm sido investigadas intensivamente desde os anos 80 como modelos para entender muitos fenômenos espaço temporais observados em sistemas espacialmente estendidos, consequentemente caos espaço temporal. Usamos o parâmetro de ordem complexo para quantificar a sincronização de caos em uma rede unidimensional de mapas logosticos acoplados com a intensidade de acoplamento variando conforme uma lei de potência. Dependendo do número de mapas, da intensidade de acoplamento e do alcance das interacões, a sincronizacão de caos completa pode ser obtida. Além disso, também calculamos o espectro de Lyapunov que fornece as informações sobre o grau de caoticidade da rede. |
| Abstract: | We considered coupled maps lattices with long-range interactions to study chaos synchronization. Coupled map lattices have been intensively investigated since early 80's as models to understand many spatiotemporal phenomena observed in extended spattially system, consequently spatiotemporal chaos. We used the complex order parameter to quantify chaos synchronization for a one-dimensional chain of coupled logistic maps with a coupling strength which varies with the lattice in a power-law fashion. Depending on the range of the interactions, complete chaos synchronization may be attained. Furthermore, we also calculated the Lyapunov spectrum which give us information about the degreeof chaoticity of the lattice. |
