dc.description.abstractIn this work we discuss scattering in quantum graphs using the Green’s function approach. We show that is possible to study wells and barriers by mapping such systems into quantum graphs. By making an analytic extension of the scattering matrix to the complex plane, we analyze the position of their poles that provides the types of existent states in such systems. The poles of scattering matrix can be obtained by the Green’s function poles. Some scattering systems are built, which are interpreted as quantum devices, allowing the analysis of its transmission in arrangements of these devices in series and parallel.pt_BR
dc.description.resumoNeste trabalho estudamos espalhamento em grafos quânticos utilizando a técnica de funções de Green. Mostramos que é possível realizar o estudo de poços e barreiras de potencial por meio do mapeamento destes sistemas em grafos quânticos. Fazendo a extensão analítica para o plano complexo da matriz de espalhamento desses sistemas, analisamos as posições dos seus polos e dos tipos de estados existentes em tais sistemas. Mostramos que os polos da matriz de espalhamento podem ser obtidos através dos polos da função de Green. Também construímos alguns sistemas de espalhamento, os quais podem ser interpretados como dispositivos quânticos, possibilitando a análise da transmissão através destes dispositivos em circuitos dispostos em arranjos em série e paralelo.pt_BR
